Welcome to the GSP Club of San Antonio
Since 1968, the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of San Antonio (GSPCSA) has been licensed and accredited according to the American Kennel Club (AKC), and is granted permission by the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America (GSPCA) to act as a local specialty club that serves to promote the German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP).
GSPCSA offers training, educational, and testing opportunities for not only members with GSPs, but also other versatile gun dogs.
Our club training days, AKC-sanctioned conformation, hunt tests, field trials, and club meetings promote sportsmanship by allowing members to compete, train their dogs, and form friendships with other gun dog enthusiasts. Many of our members and their dogs enjoy participating in other AKC-sanctioned events.
Register on the membership page to join us on our 198 +/- acre lease in Cibolo, Texas, to train your bird dogs, share good times with friends, and create lasting memories with two and four-legged friends.

"I’m grateful to GSPCSA for connecting me with Tarlawn, whose expert guidance helped my GSP earn multiple Canine Good Citizen certifications. Their support made my dog public service-friendly and a joy to work with. I truly appreciate their exceptional expertise as I continue training and engaging with AKC and the GSPCSA"
